  6. Shipping System (PSS) is a software-driven shipping system. PSS has the
  7. advantage of resident software that enables data to communicate
  8. bi-directionally and in realtime with the user's existing software. This allows
  9. for automatic updating of data files (i.e. backorders, billing, and inventory).
  10. PSS can also be setup as a standalone shipping system. PSS supports multiple
  11. users and shipping stations, companies, warehouses, and deaprtments. PSS has
  12. many features and options such as multiple small parcel carriers with rates
  13. (e.g., label printing, COD tag printing, bill-of-lading and barcode printing,
  14. interactive packer stations, carton contents tracking, third-party insurance,
  15. order confirmation and verification, handling charge, fault tolerance, approved
  16. UPS and USPS manifests, and USPS postage meter interface.
